Donna Benson was passionate about two things: genealogy and the collection of dolls, carriages, and other related memorabilia. Donna died in October, 2019 and it was her wish that whatever proceeds came from her collections benefit her granddaughters and great-grandchildren.
The collections were extensive. Donna was old-school and never had much more than a dial-up internet connection, so her genealogical research was mostly on paper — meticulously collected nonetheless — in a series of more than fifty binders. The results of her research is currently being digitized where possible and made available for public benefit. As for her doll collection, some of it has been disseminated to family, some of it is being donated to groups that can use certain pieces, and the rest is being offered here.
